TURANGANUI CLUB/

TIIO 19094910 season of the Turanganui Bowling Club is to be opened on Thursday week, October 7th. Already the Grounds Committee of the club are making active preparations for the opening, and. are giving great attention to the welfare of the green. The sward is in splendid order, and should provide the best of play on opening dav. The whole of the grounds are looking well, and the recent improvements to the property are showing to advantage. The new green is coming on well, and is expected to. be fit tor play in’ a few months’ time. _ The recently formed lawns are showing a good growth of grass, and the shrubs and flowers are also doing well. The Refreshment Committee have already met and determined on their arrangements for the providing of afternoon tea throughout the season.
