H.M.S. PROMETHEUS.

HER, VISIT TO GISBORNE

The L'.'S.S. Cods Tuatea made a coupie of trips yesterday to the visiting warship in the Bay, taking out on each occasion a number of visitors. Today the launch will leave Ihe wharf at 12.30 p.m., taking off to the vessel all the younger members of the Navy (league, \Vho were unable to make the trip on’Saturday. Only those who did not go out on Saturday be taken, and on production of their League tickets they will bo conveyed to and from the vessel at a cost of 6cl. The Tuatea will also leave the wharf at 1.30 p.m., taking visitors to the ship, and further trips will be made if inducement offers.

To-day and Wednesday a similar arrangement*will he in force, adults being conveyed for 2.s return, and children half-price. On Thursday, in view of the holiday, several tiips will he made, the first leaving the wharf at 1 p.m-To-day the officers of the Prometheus will come ashore,, and will be taken for an extended trip in the country in motor ears. They will also be present at the Hospital social on Thursday evening A number of the men were ashore yesterday, and some of them indulged in rifle practice at the ICaiti ' range.
