THE WEATHER

Following is the Rev.' D- C. Bates’ weather forecast: —High pressure of a very unstable type has prevailed during the day, and excepting for a moderation in the winds with little change generally. Cloudy and changeable weather is probable everywhere, with 'ain in the north. Easterly winds, moderate to strong, ill probably prevail, and with a _ falling barometer in the northern districts. A fad is also due in the southern districts, but is at present uncertain, though ominous.
