THE WEATHER.
The following is the Rev. D. C. Bates report and weather forecast: The weather has been very unsettled and stormy north of East Cape and Haglan, with strong north-easterly winds, but elsewhere increasing warmth and humidity have accounted for typical spring weather, with moderate winds between north-east and southeast generally, and a slight fall in baronieteric pressure. The present indications are for a decided fall in the barometer shortly, _ with freshening easterlies'and increasing cloudiness, presaging rain and more unsettled weather.
