TO-DAY’S MATCHES. Two practice matches will be held to-day. Y.M.C.A. will meet United at Victoria Domain at 2.30 p.m., and Wanderers and Taruheru will try conclusions on the Taruheru ground at 2.30 p.m. The team to- represent Y.M.C.A. against United will be picked from the following: Pine, Barker, Rewai, Featon. Kaipara, Hutton, Paku, Brown, Makore, Bloomfield, Mill, Edwards, Clarke, Ellison, and Muir. The United team will be selected from the following : Hallamore, Farrell, Daniell, Grenfell, Payne, Gallop, J. Doyle, 0. R. Olsen, Scroggie, Turner, Whyte, Chirnside, Rigby, J. Lang, and J. Ferris.

The receipts in the various matches of the Australian tour were: Birmingham £1572, Lords £4720, Leeds £2744, Manchester £3153, Oval £4206. The Australians’ moiety of the gross gate was £5421. The first-class Counties and Marylebone each contributed £3OS and grounds where tests were playedy£s33; minor Counties contributing £45. Wordsworth, of Australia, as coach for the season. Wordsworth was one of the coaches supported last season.
