A REAL AWAKENING. United Press Association— Copyright SYDNEY, October 4. The Chief Justice of Samoa has returned from a visit to the East. They replace the island laborers, who have lately been giving much trouble He is convinced that the awakening of China is perfectly real, the motive beincr a powerful patriotism, which spreads right through the people. He Eves they will create both an army ami a navy large enough for them own <lefenco. He thinks there is no fear that these will he used aggressively. He does hot believe that China will be an aggressive power in the Pacific.
