The U.S.S. Co.’s Tarawera arrives from South early this- morning, and sails later for Auckland. The Tuatea which, owing to the low state of the tide, has been berthed at the end of the wharf near the Squall’s berth, is timed to leave the wharf at 6 a.m. and 10 a.m. ' . , . The Huddart-Parker Co.’s Victoria arrives from Sydney and Auckland this afternoon, and proceeds South during the evening. The Tuatea leaves the wharf on arrival and at 7 p.m. Th 9 U.S.S. Co.’s Wanaka is expected to arrive from Napier this morning. She has 100 tons of produce for this port, and on discharge she proceeds to Auckland. The U.S.S. Co.’s Squall is due to arrive from Tologa Bay and Auckland today. She returns to Auckland to-mor-row night. . , The U.S.S. Co.’s Flora is due here about Friday, having left Auckland at 7 p.m. on Monday for Coast bays, Gisborne, Napier, and Wellington. Messrs Richardson and Co.’s V, eka leaves Napier to-night with general cargo for this port. The U.S.S. Co.’s Malieno arrives on Saturday morning from South, and leaves later for Auckland, where she will replace the Mokoia in the Auck-land-Sydney running, the Waikare being in future the connecting steamer. The Mokoia, on her arrival at Auckland o'n Sunday from Sydney, will be expeditiously discharged, and will leave Auckland on Monday, instead of Tuesday, consequently arriving in Gisborne a. day earlier than usual. She leaves here on Tuesday evening for South. ..ii The schooner Awanui arrived early vesterdav morning from Auckland, via Tologa Bay. She left her loading port on Friday morning, and northerly weather with heavy rain was experienced, followed by light fair winds, which accompanied the schooner across the Bay of Plenty. East Cape was passed on Sunday afternoon, when a calm set in. Tologa Bay was reached on Monday at 10 a.m., and there 6000 feet of timber and 2000 bricks were landed for Air. J. Colley. Leaving Tologa at 3 o’clock the same afternoon, light fair winds were met down the coast. She berthed at the wharf at 9 a.m. yesterday. The auxiliary schooner Kaeo was noticed wind-bound in Hick’s Bay on Sunday. The Awanui’s cargo for this port it as follows: 30,000 feet of timber ior Ciayton Bros., 12,000 feet of timber, 34 tons of coal, 5 tons lime, 7 tons cement, and 12 cases of iron for Evans, Neild and Co.
