RAILWAY TRAFFIC INTERRUPTED. (Per Prksß Association.! PALMERSTON N., Oct. 5. Very heavy rains have fallen to-day, but especially over the Ruahinc Range. In consequence another large slip came down in the middle of the Manawatu Gorge, blocking all traffic from 5.30 p.m. Trains were stopped at "Woodville and Ashhurst. Gangs are now at work, and it is hoped to get the line clear fn time to resume railway communication to-morrow forenoon.
