COPENHAGEN, Oct. 5
A petition bearing 140,000 signatures has been presented to the King of Denmark, asking him to order the allegations against M. Alberti, ex-Minister of Justice, to be investigated by a State Court. The petitioners also deprecated the inclusion of M. Christensen, exPremier, who resigned at the time of the Alberti frauds in October last as Minister of Defence in the present Ministry. The King refused to grant an interview, and said he deplored the suspicions raised against M. Christensen.
