Giving evidence before the Daylight Saving Bill Committee, the Inspector of Factories stated that lie had collected the opinion of 343 employers—3o3 favored, 20 were neutral, and 20 against the proposal. The secretary of the Storekeepers” Association declared that his society as a whole favored it.
