At the London Church Congress, the Bishop of Truro initiated a debate on Socialism. He said that he himself belonged to the Christian Socialists, who were not revolutionists, hut evolutionists. j
The Bishop of Southwark declared that the very best thought and life m the church were moving in the direction of socialism, which should' not b© regarded as criminal.
