TURANGANUI CLUB
There is expected to be a good attendance of the Saturday players on the Turanganui Club’s rinks this afternoon. The Refreshment Committee have resolved to this season i extend the afternoon tea arrangements to include Saturday, as well as Thursday. The Club is to furnish the refreshments on Saturday afternoons, and to-day this pleasing departure will be innovated. The following gentlemen have been elected to membership of the Club: — M essrs R. Caulton. G. Smith, 11. J. Finn, W. Tattley. J. Chapman, E. Lewis, J. C. Parker, and Dr. Collins, while Messrs J. R. Quinn and R. G. Hallamore have been elected honorary members. Entries for the Challenge WalkingStick and the Douglas Feathers close on Tuesday next.
