The British community in Argentina has decided to present a large memorial dock tower (similar to the Albert Memorial Tower in Belfast) to cost £50,000, to the city of Buenos Ayres in commemoration of the Republic’s centenary of independence. The trade between Argentina and Great Britain last year was valued at over £44,000,000.
