RETIREMENT OF TEACHERS

DUNEDIN, Oct. 14. 4 meeting of the Executive of the School Committees Association to-day it was decided to strongly urge that the clauses in the Education Act providing for the retirement of male teachers at 65 and female teachers at 60, be given effect to and the Act administered as intended by the Legislature. The matter will come before the Education Board next week.
