The following is the Her. D. C. Bates' summary and forecast: dhe weather has continued fine in nearly all parts <•-. tin? <'onntry, but stormy weatiier has Prevailed in the Southern districts. A bout Foveaux Straits westerly winds have prevailed and the barometer has fallen everywhere. The present indications are for stormy weather south of Kawhia and Castle Point.. High nortnerly and westerly winds prevailing everywhere. Increasing humidity and ram are probable shortly in most parts. ihe barometer will probably fall low in tne South.
