SCHOOL DISCIPLINE.
> (To the Editor.) Sir, —It is not my intention to accept Mr Rowley’s challenge, but if I had. been correctly reported By the Napier “Telegraph” I do not think he would have dreamt that I meant the Gisborne school. W T hat I really did sav was, after relating the incident of the rifles being pointed at me, that this showed that tne pupils were not under proper control in the playground. At . the Board meeting I 'never mentioned thenumber 200, and not even 20, and gave no indication of where the incident happened, nor is it my intention to do so, but that it did occur is a fact. —I am. etc., M. McLEOD.
