COMMITS SUICIDE AFTER KILLING A POLICEMAN.

A robber entered an Erskine bank, in a- suburb of Chicago, overawed tlie clerks with two revolvers, and filling liis pockets with gold and notes, fled in a motor car with a companion. The motor broke down. Tlie police fired a fusilade.. The robber committed suicide; after killing a policeman.
