CHAMBER OF COMMERCE DELEGATES.
ENTERTAINED AT FEILDIXG
IT Kit Press Association.! FEILDING, October 19. Fifteen of the Chamber of Commerce delegates reached Feilding at noon today, and were met at the station by the Mayor (Mr. W. J. B. Trewin), and the president of the Chamber of Commerce (Mr. W. F. Bramwell). After an address of welcome by the Mayor, the party were entertained at luncheon by the ‘Chamber of Commerce. A large number of leading residents were present. The delegates were taken for a motor trip through Waituna, Beaconsfield, Kiwitea, Ivimbolton, and Cheltenham. They expressed themselves as greatly impressed with the productiveness and richness of- the district, and the great advance in settlement in a district which thirty years ago w T as standing hush. The party returned from a 50-m.ile spin in time to catch the Main Trunk train for Taumarunui. Mr. on behalf of the delegates, thanked the Feilding people for their kindness.
