FESTIVITIES OVER ITS RESTORATION. United Press Association— Copyright. SAN FRANCISCO, Oct. 19. Forty million, pounds liave been spent in restoring San Francisco. NEW YORK, Oct. 19. At noon to-day through the United States, all trains halted, industries were stopped, and millions of school children cheered simultaneously with the proposing of the health of the new'city by President Taft. The festivities will occupy five days. Twenty-five nations will be represented.
