HENRY HAYWARD’S PICTURES. To-night and to-morrow night at His Majesty’s Theatre Mr. Henry Hayward will present a specially selected carnival programme of moving pictures, headed by the latest military inspiration, “The Boy Scouts to the Res cue,” which has been described as a very thrilling episode in the life and training of our youthful soldiers. The production of this film throughout Australasia has done much to. foster the Boy Scout movement in the colonies. An effective array of other star subjects is also promised, including several magnificent scenic films, “Snapshots in India,” “A Day in Washington," “Frostbound Nature.” A superb colored picture, “Magic in the Far East” will be sure to attract considerable attention, while the comics have been specially selected fori carnival week. . “A BACHELOR’S HONEYMOON.” This cheerful and entirely irresponsible farce is attracting, largo and delighted audiences down Sonth. “A Bachelor’s Honeymoon” isi not a one-part piece, everyone in the cast gets a chance, and they all “make good.” Mr. Hugh Ward tops the'bunch, and his dancing is an exhilarating feature. Miss Grace Palotta is splendidly suited for the bright and vivacious character she pourtrays. Miss Rose Musgrove and Miss Celia Ghiloni are said to simply revel in their respective parts, and excellent performances, it is said, are given by Misses Baxter and Redfern, and Messrs Wykeham, Wallaoe, Eldred and Greig. It is advertised that “A Bachelor’s Honeymoon” will be presented. on Wednesday, and that on Thursday “A Man from Mexico” will be presented. Sparkle' and fun arise from well-conceived complications, and all have to laugh at the plight of a married man who should be. in Mexico bu finds himself in gaol.- Mr. Worn-, ham S. Ryott.an eminent English comedian, also Mr. W. B. Beattie will make their first appearance in that piece. On Friday, the ever popular comedy, “Mr. Hopkinsou,” is to .be revived, in which Mr. Hugh Ward will appear in his favorite character as “Hoppy.” The box plans for the season are open at Mr. Miller’s.
