BUSINESS NOTES.

Messrs Williams and Kettle will hold their spring horse fair at Mr. Con. Necnan’s yards, Ormond, to-day. The sale is to begin at 10 a.m., and upwards of 250 horses, heavy and light, will be put up for competition. Particulars of the various entries are published in the advertising columns of this issue.

It is advertised that l\lrs. Sorensen, dairvoyante medium, may be consulted in Grey Street, off Gladstone Road. It is advertised that Mr. H. Adair, Gladstone Road, is agent for the sale of the publications of the British and Foreign Bible Society. Messrs J. Peckover and Co. call for tenders for painting four cottages. Mr. Sykes, dentist, notifies that he is now prepared to receive patieuts at his rooms, which were temporarily closed on account of the recent fire. Messrs J. Peckover and Co. have for sale 600 acres o.r.p. in the Motu district, and 1100 acres heavy bush land adjoining. Particulars are given in the advertising columns of this issue of the “Gisborne Times.” The firm also advertise several desirable house properties in Gisborne. At 11 a.m. on Saturday next, Messrs Williams and Kettle, in conjunction with the New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., will hold a sale of horses at their bazaar. Some details of the lots to be submitted are to he found in the advertising columns of this issue. . . ~ Mr. C. G. Bloore. advertises a 42 years’ lease of 5000 acres of bush for sale. A further notification in connection with Messrs Williams and Kettle’s annual spring land sale! to be held in His Majesty’s Theatre at 11.30 a.m. on Saturday next, appears in the advertising columns of this issue. Several other properties besides, these. hitherto advertised are to be offered for sale.
