The speed at 'which Auckland suburban trains run was illustrated by Mr S. Harboutt at an agitation meeting at Otahuhu last week. Taking the trains running from Auckland to Otahuhu, the times taken by Mr Harbutt ranged from 31 minutes (registered by the 10 a.m. train) to GO minutes (recorded by the 12.45 p.m. train from Otahuhu to Auckland). The 12.7 p.m. held the record for slowness with 62 minutes. Taking the traffic both ways the average time was equivalent to miles per hour. “A very dangerous speed,’’ said Mr Harbutt, ‘‘especially with a duplicate line.” PILES RAPIDLY CURED. ' “I had been suffering from Piles for some little time, and had tried various advertised Ointments for my complaint,' but I only grew worse. 1 gave Rexona a trial, and was pleasantly surprised to find I was completely cured in four days. I used Laxo-Tonio Pills at the same time, so they may have helped towards my quick recovery,” writes Mrs. Maggie Munro, Cooper Street, Balmain, N.S.W. Rexona, the Rapid Healer, is sold in triangular pots at Is 6d and 3s. Obtainable everywhere.
