At a meeting of the Amalgamated Society of Railway Servants, it was resolved that this meeting of representa‘tives of . locomotive traific and maintenance strongly protests against the alteration of. the clause in the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, which refers to our society. Such an alteration would be detrimental to our society, and contrary to the best interests of the railway men as a whole. V ' NAPIER, • Oct. 25. At a well attendedf meeting of the Napier branch of the Amalgamated Society of Railway Servants, at which a number of locomotive men were also present, a resolution was carried protesting against any alteration in the Industrial Conciliation and Arbitration Act. • . •'
