TOWN v. COUNTRY. The selector, Mr. Gibson, has chosen the following elevens to represent the Town players in the matches against the Country representatives and the Waingake Clnb on Saturday next, commencing at 10 o’clock a.m. : Against Country, at Tarulieru. —Hallamore. McMahon, Lasker, Sharpies, Davies, Hooker, Dillon, Adamson, Armstrong, Fenwick, and Against Waingake, at Victoria Domain.—McConnell, Fhrreil, Bar Her, Babbs, Glennie, Monk, Stitclibury. A. Lang, Olsen. Grenfell, and Scroggie. THe following team will represent the Waingake Club:—Coop (3), Parker (2), Jackson, Griffiths, Colthaxt, Stow art, O’Connor, and A. N. Other. The Country should have a strong eleven in the field at Tarulieru. A number of prominent country players are already in town, including WOates (Tokoina.ru), A. C. Steele, ad J. R. Murphy (Tahora), Hugh Williams (Mangatu), W. MacDonald (Motu), W. Dods (Waikohu), and Gillies and G. Reynolds (Tologa Bay). In addition to these, it is understood that H. Sharp, W. Bisdel (Rakauroa), W. and F. Reed, and F. Hansen (Motu), and others will be available. A meeting of the Country players in town wiTl be held at the Alhambra Club rooms a.t 10 o’clock to-morr/ysv morning. when a selection committee will be^appointed to choose their team. It the full strength of the country is available the match shorn d furnish a really good contest.
