DEPUTATION TO MINISTER OF LABOR, [ Prn Piiksh Association. I WELLINGTON, Oct, 2t. A deputation representing seveiai trades unions, and supported by a number of members of Parliament, waited on the Minister of Labor to-night u g ing him to introduce legislation insisting that all articles made in blew Zealand should be plainly branded as such, a penalty to be imposed on any one .affixng a New Zealand stamp to goods from other countries. Ihe Ministei gave a svmpathetie reply, and said lie, would bring the matter before his colleagues, and, if possible, ondeavoi o make the proposed amendment when alterations to the Factories Act were „beiiig considered.
