Archdeacon AVillis said he noticed Sir Robert Stout had been upholding the value of the present educational system and spoalciu" against the introduction of religious teaching into the educational curriculum. Evidently he was still influenced by the Bishop of Auckland s reference to pagans being present in the Dominion. Tlie Archdeacon said that there was no doubt in Ins mi no that the Bishop. was right, and that there were pagans here.
