HOLIDAY NOTICE. Post Office—Tuesday, 9th November, the King’s Birthday, will be observed as a holiday. A delivery of correspondence will be made at the counter, and parcel delivery wicket, on Monday evening, Bth November, between 7 and 8 p. Mails usually despatched on Tuesday, will be closed on Monday, Bth November, at 7.30 p.m., and supplementary mails will be made up on Tuesday morning till 7.15 a.m. Telegraph Office. —The following hours will be observed : 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., and 7 p.m. to midnight. Telephone Exchange.—Hours as usual, 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. Money orders for places bevond Now Zealand close 1 hour 30 minutes before be* "closing of the ordinary mail.
