TOWN. v. COUNTRY. The match Town v. Country commences at 10 o’clock this morning at the Taruhem ground. A drag will leave the Masonic corner at 9 a.m. for Ta.ruherti. Colonel Winter and Mr. W. Oates, senr., of Tokomaru, will act as umpires. Two strong elevens will ,tako the field, and a good game should result. TOWN v. WAINGAKE. On Victoria Domain the Waingak© Club meets another Town eleven, this match also commencing at 10 o’clock. The Waingake players will be the guests of the local men at luncheon, both elevens dining, together at the Record Reign Hotel. Waingake will be represented by a strong eleven, while the Town team is composed of a good all-round combination. JUNIOR COMPETITION. The junior competition will commence at Victoria Domain at 2.15 p.m., United playing Alhambra and AVanderers meeting Y.M.C.A.
