Post Office— Tuesday/ 9th November the King’s Birthday, will be observed as a holiday. A delivery of correspondence will be made at the counter, and parcel delivery wicket, on Monday evening, Bth November, between 7 and o p.m. Mails usually despatched on Tuesday, will be closed on Monday, Bth November, at 7.30 p.m., and supplementary mails will be made up on Tuesday morning till 7.15 a.m. . Telegraph Office.—The following hours will be observed: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., and 7 p.m. to midnight. Telephone , Exchange.—Hours as usual, 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. Money orders for places bevond New Zealand close 1 hour 30 minutes before Jo. closing of the ordinary mail.
