For the first half of the new fiscal _year immigration to Canada totalled 1 201,933 persons, including ob,4rSb Americans. Mr. W. J. Bryan, a foimer American Presidential candidate,, speaking at Winnipeg, said that Canada was the only country m the world Mile to draw Americans from the United States and keep them. He saw no objection to Americans becoming naturalised Canadians.
