Lieutenant Typaldos’ rebels hid in the wood. They attempted to hold up a ■train, but tlie igendarmery captured four and put the rest to flight. Two wounded officers were arrested. They were hiding in Athens. ■ ..The prisoners state 1 that 09 officers signed a protocol, but only 19 fain nett the pledge. Several regiments have been mobilised and have arrived at -Athens.

The- police threaten -to lynch the mutineers.

After Lieutenant Typaldos quitted the vessel Lieutenant Zeras brought the destroyer Velos to Salamis. The commander of the- destroyer Asp is escaped •with the vessel while the rebels were changing their clothes ashore. He steamed to Corinth and surrendered.

Business at Athens is almost at a standstill. Many persons believe that the only solution before the King is to invite the Military League to form a Cabinet. The King hitherto has refused direct relations with the League. ATHENS, Nov. 1.

The action of the authorities in preventing twenty of Lieutenant Typaldos’ confederates from rejoining their ships largely accounted ior the failuie of the revolt.

Tlie mutinous destroyers <m Friday 11 wlit attempted to escape from Salami! Bay. The loyal fleet repulsed them, and the officers then landed.
