THE INVERCARGILL CASE

Victor Emanuel Von Tunzlcman pleaded guilty to theft of £29 from the Friendly Societies’ dispensary, to setting fire to the premises, and attempting to chloroform Robert Pollock, the manager. Accused had been employed as apprentice in the dispensary, and resigned two months ago. All the stolen property is accounted for. Accused was committed to the Supreme Court for sentence.
