INTER-STATE RACE AT HOBART

[Per Press Association, j WELLINGTON, Nov. 2. The secretary of the New Zealand Rowing Association has received word that tne distance for the four-oared .Inter-state race at Hobart on February 23rd will be three miles. The prizes will be a shield and five gold medals. The carnival committee will give a contribution towards the expenses of visiting crews.

NEW ZEALAND CHAMPIONSHIP REGATTA. The Picton regatta committee has agreed to make the date of the champion regatta January 22 or 24, in consequence of the opposition to January Ist, the date first suggested. THE MANAWATU CONTEST.
