THE WEATHER
The following is the Rev. D. p. Rates’ summary and forecast: —The weather has continued unsettled and cloudy over the northern districts, but warm and fair in other parts._ The winds have been generally light and variable, with little movement of the barometer. The barometer has , fallen, however, about the East Cape, and this may indicate .a disturbance passing . off that part, which will cause rain on the East Coast of the'North Island. Changeable weather is probable generally, moderate to strong southerly winds will prevail in the north and westerly elsewhere. There are indications for an anti-cyclonic pressure, with pre'jable continuance of fine weather at the aul of this week and in the early p.'.rt of next week.
