ADVERTISERS PLEASE NOTE. Notice to withdraw advertisements must be given in writing not later than 6 P.M. Advertisements inserted by the Month or Quarter and withdrawn at any time before the expiration of a monthly or quarterly period arc charged for as it inserted for the whole term. Alterations to Standing Advertisements must be handed in by 5 P.M. the day before they are required to appear. This Rule must be strictly observed, otherwise the change cannot be made until the day following. Advertisements are received for insertion in the Times at the following rates: Three shillings per inch first insertion, two shillings per inch each subsequent consecutive insertion. Advertisements ordered for alternate insertion are charged three shillings per inch per insertion. Contracts entered into for standing advertisements. The right is reserved of omitting insertion of advertisements which may be deemed objectionable, although such advertisements may have been 'received and paid for in the usual course of business.
