In regard to the recent shipment of meat by the steamer Marathon, the “Times” states that importers are gratified at the success of the Marathon’s meat venture. They are of the opinion that for the first time in its history the Beef Trust will have to fear competition of a most substantial kind in the English market from the colonies. •
