Kairaki arrived from Grey-r.-outh about midnight on Sunday, and came up to the wharf at 1.30 yesterday morning. Her cargo consists of 180.000 feet timber. ‘Upon discharge the Kairaki will probably proceed to Wellington, getting away to-day. The schooner Awanui left for Auckland vasterda-v morning. The K.S.S.‘Co.’s Squall arrived from Auckland via Tologa Bay yesterday morning with a general cargo. The Squall soiled from Auckland on the 6th ir.st. at 1 p.m. She passed the East Cape on the 7th at 2.30 p.m., and arrived at Tologa Bay at- 9.30 p.m. same day, sailing again at 5 a.m. on the Bth. (Hie Squall experienced favorable weatiser, with south-westerly winds until jv/uuding the East Cape. From there motherly winds, with occasional ram r,quails, were met with. The steamer’s cargo included transhipments by the Opawa and Mimiro. Unloading operations were busy on the Squall, all last <’vening, and she was to have left be 1 tween 3 and 4 o’clock this morning for Auckland. The U.S.S. Co.’s Monowai arrives from South early to-morrow morning, a.nu leaves later for Auckland. The Taatea leaves the wharf on arrival and again at 9.30 a.m. The U.S.S. Co.’s Waikaro returns from Auckland to-morrow afternoon, and leaves later for South. The Tuatea goes out on arrival and at 7 p.m. The U.S.S. Co.’s Wan aka leaves Picton for Napier to-day, and is due here to-morrow evening with produce, fir; completion of unloading she proceeds to Auckland. The New Zealand Shipping Co.’s Waimate gets away for Napier this evening. The U.S.S. Co.’s Flora is to get away from Wellington on Thursday, and should arrive here on Saturday, leaving the same day for the Coast. The Flora will proceed as far as Port Awanui and load wool for transhipment to the Niva ru, either at Gisborne or Napier. Captain Skinner’s new purchase, the topsail schooner Waratah, arrived here from Ivaipara with a cargo of SO,oooft of rimu for Mr. Colley, yesterday. The Waratah left Ivaipara on October 30th, and experienced dirty southerly weather till passing North Cape, and from there right down strong south to southson th-west winds. She passed East Cape at 9.30 on the 6th inst. Upon completing the discharge of her cargo, which should bo done about the end of the week, she leaves probably for Auckland. The Waratah is a very good seaboat, according to her captain, acting very well in rough weather. She has a total length of 93ft, with a 24ft beam, and fully loaded was drawing about Bft of water. She is the first topsail schooner to visit Gisborne since the Joseph Sims ceased running. The Canterbury Shipping Co.’s Ripple left Napier yesterday afternoon, and arrives here to-day. UY TELEGRAPH.
