The Lords’ and Commons’ Committee recommend a continuance of the censorship of plays, with a consultative committtee to assist the examiner, that it should be optional to seek a license, and that an unlicensed play may be performed at the manager’s risk, the Government prosecuting for indecency or impropriety.
