THE FASTING CURE.

WANGANUI LADY’S LONG FAST

T Per Press Association. 1 WANGANUI, Nov. 15

A lady living here is at present engaged in a long “fast.” For sixty-three days she has eaten no food, her sole nourishment- consisting of the squeezed juice of one lemon or orange daily, and for one- week a teaspoonful of malted milk daily. The fast is being undertaken for catarrh and rheumatism of lifelong standing. The latter has quite disappeared, and the former is much lessened. The lady is in excellent spirits, and takes daily exercise.
