The statement has been made to the effect that the Iluakura Experimental Farm is to be used as a training centre for, the sons of farmers, and. that arrangements are already being carried out to that end. “The matter has never been submitted either to the Secretary of Agriculture or myself,” said the Minister for Agriculture (Hon. T. Mackenzie), to a “Post” reporter. “As soon as I receive a report from the Director of Experimental Stations that the building which has been in course of erection for some time is completed, I will go into the whole matter with the officers of the department with a view to carrying out the necessary arrangements.
