INTERIM INJUNCTION DISSOLVED
[PKit Press Association.! WELLINGTON., Nov. 20. An interim injunction granted on the 04+I) September to Christopher Oosep.i Lyne, school teacher, by Judge Onapiium, restraining the Wellington Education Board from removing Aum from •i position lit the Lower -Hin-u District High School*, and from withholding Ins salary, was dissolved by Judge Chapman’s reserved judgment in the bnpreme Court, to-day. Plaintiff, according to his statement, absented himself from duty a day and a half owing to illness. Suspension by the School Committee followed, and was confirmed by the Education Board. Subsequently plaintiff was allowed to resume duty till the 29th June, when the Board, after consultation with the new school committee, wrote to Turn a letter pi reporting to terminate' hi.s engagement ,as from the 30th September. Plaintiff claimed that such was ultra vires, as no charges had been formulated against him, and he was not allowed a defence, and that the Board had not properly consulted the school eomrnitteo. lhc Court to-day, hold that a eonfeicnco, properly constituted, was carried out, and that there was nothing to show the now committee was asked to take evidence, as alleged 1 , falsifying the evidence among the records of the.old committee taken previously.
