Co.’s Waikare _ arrived from South on Saturday morning, and sailed later for Auckland. The U.S.S. C-o.’s Tarawera arrived Petri Auckland late yesterday _ afternoon. She was tendered .witn one launch at 5 p.m., -and resumed her voyage to Southern ports in the evenThe U.S.S. Co.’s Squall left Auckland on Saturday afternoon for Toioga Bay and Gisborne. She is due at this port ibis afternoon. The Westport Coal Co.’s Rcgulus is expected to arrive this afternoon from Westport with a full cargo of coal for this port. / The auxiliary schooner Vv aiapu will probably sail this evening for Auckland, inclndecl in her cargo for this port were 50 cases of gelignite, 500 posts, and a quantity of wool. The schooner Awanui arrived at Auckland on Friday evening. She loads cargo there for-Tologa Bay. The next Tysor liner to call at ( Gisborne will he the Star of Scotland, about December sth. Wool shipped by her will arrive in London in time for the March sales. The following was the cargo shipped at this port by the Tyser liner Niwaru: Messrs Williams and Kettle, 2706 bales fool, 11'cases preserved meats, 1 drum oil, 1719 carcases mutton, 725 carcases lamb, 834 quarters of beef; Messrs Bennett and Sherratt, 9 bales wool; Messrs Dalgotv and Co., 28 bales wool. The U.S.S. Co.’s Flora is busily engaged loading wool at the Coast bays, and will shortly proceed to Auckland -with about 800'bales for transhipment to the Tyser liner Star of Scotland.. The new lighter Aramoho for the Gisborne Sheepfarmers’ Frozen Meat Co. arrived from Wanganui on Saturday morning. She was towed from the latter port to. Cape Palliser by the Paten Shipping Co.’s A rap awn, and completed the remainder of the journey under her own sail, having been temporarily ketch-rigged for the trip. The , Araniaho is -a trim little vessel of 65 tons register, 97 feet long, and with a 20ft beam. When leaving Wanganui loaded with timber she was drawing 6ft Gin after and sft 6ih forward: Captain Carpenter, late of the scow Rambler, is in charge of the vessel. After her cargo of timber is discharged, the AralTioho will be placed on the slip, where nhe will be sheathed with totara, and have her bottom caulked. It is expected that she will be ready for hoi - new work in about a fortnight.
