THE IRISH PARTY.
MR. REDMOND’S DECLARATION
United Press Association— Copyright LONDON, Nov. 19.
Mr Redmond has cabled to Air T. P. O’Connor, who is on a financial mission to America in the interests of the Irish party : “No such opportunity has been offered to Ireland to strike for liberty since Grattan moved tbe Declaration of Indenendence. If the Irish, Nationalists abroad and at home act unitedly in this supreme hour a glorious victory is assured.” The “Times” Dublin correspondent reports that Air Redmond’s Home Rfile declaration was extracted by the criticisms of his own followers concerning his attitude on the Budget, and by the fierce onslaught ;of: the s>inn Fein party. The writer adds: “It is the Nationalists’; only chance of regaining popularity.” ; ■ ’ - ’
