A SPECIAL ORDER made by the Waikohu County Council at a Special Meeting held in the Council Chambers, Te Ivaraka, on FRIDAY, the 15th day of October, 1909, to be confirmed at a Special Meeting to be held on WEDNESDAY-, the 24th day of November, 1909.In pursuance and exercise of the powers vestel in it in that behalf by the- Local Bodies Loans Act, 1908, the Waikohu County Council hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing interest and other charges on a loan of £2600, authorised to be raised by the Waikohu Countv Council under the above mentioned Act for constructing a new road from the cnd_ of formation in No. 10 Mangatu No. 1 to the Waitangirua* Slrehin. The said Waikohu County Council hereby makes and levies a Special Rate of FOURPENCE in the £1 sterling upon the rateable value of -all rateable property of the Mangahamia Special Rating District No. 2, comprising—:Part Mangatu No. 1, being Sec. iB, 20a, and Sec. 21, 9880 acres, £4940; part of Secs. 20 and 21, Mangatu No. 1, 3084 acres, £1554; and that such Special Rate shall be an. annual recurring: rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the first day of July in each and every year during the currency of. such loan, being a period of forty-one years or until the loan is fully paid off; the rate of interest to be 3-J per cent.
