ARRIVAL AND RECEPTION IN AUCKLAND.
[Pku Press Association.! AUCKLAND, Nov. 22. Mr. Will Crooks, Labor M.P. for Woolwich, 1 arrived from Sydney on Sun. day. To-day Mr. and Mrs. Crooks were accorded - a civic' welcome, by Mr.Entncan, acting-Mayor* and councillors and citizens;; Miv Crooks vsaid * i>ho trip helped him to realise, bad as people were wdiat intense human feeling and sympathy existed. Speaking from personal knowledge, he said that as.a man and a lover of his people, the world did not possess the equal of King Edward. He was told on leaving Home that the unity of the Empire was a mercenary one, hut the trip had proved to him that our common humanity was our common brotherhood.
