VOLCANIC ERUPTION.
OUTBREAK AT TENERIFFE

After the earthquakes three craters formed, the largest, on the south side of Pico de Teyde, Teneriffe, emitting a flow of-lava a mile long and 500 yards wide. It travelled at the rate of six yards an hour, threatening lead and Garachico. The inhabitants fled. The eruption is now diminishing.
