A POSTAL “ECONOMY.”
SETTLERS ASKED TO SUBSIDISE THE POST OFFICE.
rPcu Press Association.! NAPIER, Nov 22. In order that the present postal facilities betiveen Napier and Taupo may be continued, the Postal Department are asking the settlers along the route to contribute "towards the cost of the service to the extent of £lO each. The request has not been well received.
