In the Supreme Court at Auckland on Monday a girl named Isabel Sinclair oleaded guilty to concealing the birth of her child. Mr. Justice Cooper said he would deal with the case as he did •with Olive Yates. He did not wish the impression to go abroad _ that he conoidered the offence a minor one, but when young girls lapsed in this way through inexperience, sometimes through lack of moral training, the best course was that calculated to save them- in the future. The girl was committed to the Door of Hope for eighteen months. Convalescence is generally slow after an exhausting illness. Stearns’ Wine of Cod Liver Extract helps the patient to recover auickly by aiding Nature to build up the tissues and invigorate the whole system.
