The Huddart-Parker Co.’s Wimmera arrices from South to-niorroiv morning .and sails later for Auckland and Sydney. The U.S.S. Co.’s Monowai returns from Auckland on Sunday afternoon, and resume. 4 her voyage to southern ports in the evening. Thef Canterbury Shipping Co.’s Storm is expected to arrive from Napier this morning with general cargo. She returns South again in the evening. The scow Alert will probably sail for Ngunguru to-morrow for a further •cargo of coal for the Sheepfarmers’ •OFrozenTMeat Co., Ltd. It is expected that the ketch Coronation will sail for Whitianga to-morrow. The U.S.S. Co.’s Squall is due to arrive on Monday afternoon from Tologa Bay and Auckland. The U.S.S. Co.’s Flora left Auckland at 6 p.ra. yesterday for Coast hays, Gisborne, and Napier. She loads -’wool along the coast, and from Napier will probably proceed to W estport or Greymouth to load coal. Messrs Common. Shelton and Co., Ltd., advise that the Athenic was signalled at Hobart at 9 a.m. yesterday. Asrfar as is known the Shaw, Savill and Albion Co.’s steamer Tokomaru is to be laid up at Nelson, as it is expected that a suitable berth will be available for ter in that port. The' first wool steamer under charter to Mr. G. H. Scales, of Wellington for the present season, is the Clan Ogtlvy, due in New Zealand early next month. The 'New' Zealand Shipping Co. have chartered the steamer Anglo Saxon to load wool and general produce at New Zealand • ports for London. The steamer will come to New Zealand from \ alparaiso, and will probably call at Lyttelton first for orders. Another charter announced is the tramp steamer Swariley, ‘4641 tons, which will pro-bably-come-to New Zealand from Para, South America. She is to load tor London and Hull. . . The Government training-ship Amo;knra left ‘Auckland last week for the •Kermadecs. At Curtis Island a new depot for-castaways will be erected as the sulphurous vapors from the vol-, came veut'have eaten away the iron the present depot. New stores will also he placed on that island. f**e \mokura will visit Macauley and bunday Islands and French Rock. She i.s due badk at Auckland in about a tortarrival at. Sydney from New Zealand on the:3oth inst., the Moura will •withdraw from the intercolonial service, and will 'go into the Vancouver running in place-of the Marama. The latter vessel will run between Sydney, New Zealand ports, Hobart and Melbourne during the summer months.
