The Postmaster-General is not- aware of any renewal of negotiations in connection with the All-Red route. It is proposed to confer with Canada in regard to the Vancouver mail service, as the renewal of the contract from year to year is an unsatisfactory arrangement. The object of'the conference is to consider whether the contract- shall not be placed on a more permanent basis. r:
